| The Fourth (4) Annual King of the Court Basketball Tournament took place on March 27, 2010 at the Salvation Army of Arlington. The tournament featured 9 teams (lodges) from Districts 10, 11, and 20. The King of the Court is a charitable basketball tournament in which the proceeds go to benefit various community charities in the DFW Metroplex and the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Charitable Trust. This year’s chosen charities are One Church One Child, and the Salvation Army (Arlington Corp). This year’s tournament saw and increase of two new teams that had not participated before. In attendance was Grand Master Wilbert M. Curtis, the R.W. Deputy Grand Master Michael T. Anderson, the R.W. Grand Junior Warden (BIG) Bryce Harden, the R.W. Grand Treasurer Robert Datcher, Rt. Eminent Grand Commander Tony Moore and members of the local lodges, Chapters, Courts and Guilds. The Committee would like to thank the Lone Star Grand Commandery and the Lone Star Grand Guild for their support in sponsoring the Knights Templar All Stars. When it was all said and done King David Lodge #151 was Third, Rescue Lodge #20 was Second. There can only be one King of the Court and that is Mosier Valley Lodge #103. Congratulations, Mosier Valley Lodge #103. Mosier Valley Lodge #103 is also Back to Back Champions of the King of the Court for 2009 & 2010. Who will be the King of the Court 2011? |
