Hi, Thanks for making your site available- I am considering becoming a mason and have been concerned (and frankly very surprised) at the fact that pretty much everyone I saw on any of the "regular" lodges was white with a few hispanic people thrown in. I came across your site as I was looking at Freemasonry on the net- it is very helpful and interesting! I am not sure yet how I feel about the apparent division based on race- it feels very uncomfortable to me thus far. I am continuing to investigate and meet Masons and talk to them and reading everything I can get my hands on. I love the stated philosophies of the craft and find myself drawn there but I still wonder how it is possible for Masons who perform the rituals to create "seperate but equal . . . " At any rate- thanks for your site, I am still learning and growing in my understanding and I have actually met some interesting masons on-line.
