Five Students to Receive Scholarships Totaling $10,000 for Undergraduate Studies in the United States

FORT WORTH – The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Texas announced five high school seniors from across the state that have been selected to receive scholarship funds toward undergraduate study at an accredited college or university in the United States.

As part of the annual J.T. Maxey Scholarship Program, scholarship recipients are chosen annually by the Maxey Scholarship Committee and must be graduating high school seniors. The committee reviews and selects applicants based on their performance in academics, leadership, and participation in school and community activities, honors and awards, and financial need.

The J.T. Maxey Scholarship Program demonstrates the Grand Lodge’s commitment to youth and education, and developing new generations as they prepare to enter the workforce. The scholarship applications reflect truly outstanding students with strong academics, leadership ability, and community involvement.  We are proud to invest in the futures of these exceptional young people.
